BERKELEY - The Pac-12 game between Cal and Arizona State at Memorial Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 29, will kick off at 1:00 p.m. PT, the conference announced Sunday. The game will be televised by FX, while the radio broadcast will be available on the Cal IMG Sports Radio Network with KGO 810 AM in San Francisco serving as the flagship station, as well as online at CalBears.com. Cal will be honoring its 2011-12 national champions at the game and presenting the Glenn T. Seaborg Award to Judge Thelton Henderson as the football alumnus of the year. Cal (1-2, 0-0 Pac-12) is next in action on the road in its Pac-12 opener at USC (2-1, 0-1 Pac-12) at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum this Saturday, Sept. 22 (3 p.m. PT). The Trojans are the nation's No. 12 ranked team according to USA Today, while AP has the Trojans at No. 13. Both Cal and USC are coming off seven-point road losses at Ohio State and Stanford, respectively. In addition to the Arizona State contest, Cal's remaining 2012 home games include matchups with Pac-12 foes Oregon, Stanford, Washington and UCLA. In addition to the game at USC, the Golden Bears still play on the road at Washington State, Utah and Oregon State.
