BERKELEY - Mike Mohamed, the preseason All-American and the Pac-10's leading tackler in 2009, had a huge game with a career-high-tying 14 tackles and his seventh career interception, making the senior linebacker the California Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week. Mohamed returned the interception 41 yards for his second career touchdown with 0:11 seconds remaining in the first half to give Cal a 31-0 lead at the break over Colorado. He is now currently the active leader for Cal in interceptions. He added a quarterback hurry and 0.5 tackles for loss. On the season, he is currently fifth in the Pac-10 and No. 29 nationally with an average of 10.5 tackles per game this season. He has moved into eighth on Cal's all-time tackle list with 266.
