Be in 'The Play'
On November 20, 1982, within the confines of California Memorial Stadium, thousands of Cal fans witnessed one of the most historic plays in all of sports history, simply known as 'The Play' as Cal defeated Stanford 25-20 in the Big Game. The final kickoff play consisted of a 57-yard return and featured five laterals ... and the Stanford Band.
Now Cal fans can be a part of the history and share the experience with friends at Beintheplay.com.
Fans are encouraged to upload a photo and see themselves cheering the Golden Bears onto victory during 'The Play.' Fans can also upload a friend's photo onto the Stanford Band member who was on the receiving end of Kevin Moen's touchdown celebration.
In addition, fans can share the experience with friends through the popular social media sites Facebook and Twitter.

Fans can enter to win four tickets, pre-game field passes and the chance to lead the team onto the field riding in the Oski-Mobile for the 113th Big Game versus Stanford on Nov. 20, 2010 - 28 years to the day of 'The Play.' In addition, the grand prize winner will also receive two season tickets to both the 2010-11 men's and women's basketball seasons.

Fans can view a photo gallery filled with images, past, present and future, featuring California Memorial Stadium as the historic venue will receive a much anticipated renovation and retrofit following the 2010 football season.
Bank of the West Fan of the Year, Memories at Memorial
Through a partnership with Bank of the West, fans are encouraged to contribute their favorite memory of Cal football at Memorial Stadium, which will be posted for all fans to enjoy. Six semifinalists will be selected (one for each home game) and have the chance to win a Gift Card to the Cal Student Store, four (4) season tickets to the 2011 football season and a framed picture of Memorial Stadium.
