Season Tickets Still Available for Cal Football

July 27, 2007

BERKELEY - Season tickets remain available for the 2007 California football campaign as do single-game tickets for the Louisiana Tech, Arizona, Oregon State and Washington State games. At this time, there are no single-game tickets available for the Tennessee and USC games.

To purchase tickets, fans can go online at www.CalBears.com, call 1-800-GO-BEARS or visit the Athletic Ticket Office in person. The Athletic Ticket Office is located at the corner of Bancroft and Fulton in Berkeley and is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. 4:30 p.m.

Fans can also purchase tickets to all road games EXCEPT the Big Game at Stanford, for which Cal has sold out of its limited allotment.

During the 2006 season, the Golden Bears sold out three home games for the first time in over 50 years, however, none of those games sold out prior to the season. Cal has also had over 50,000 fans at the last 19 straight home games.

Last year, the Golden Bears established a record for average attendance with an average of 64,318 fans per game. In addition, the 2006 final number of 40,262 season tickets sold was a record - the third straight year the Bears set a new season-ticket record. Further records fell this year with 1,791 fans renewing season tickets on the first day possible and with 15,506 tickets being sold on one day (June 29).
