BERKELEY - With the Golden Bears scheduled to face the Ohio State Buckeyes on September 15 in Columbus, current Cal football ESP participants, season-ticket holders and select donor groups will have an additional opportunity to purchase tickets to this highly anticipated game.

"We heard you clearly and based on your feedback, Director of Athletics Sandy Barbour went directly to Ohio State and secured an additional 1,000 tickets for our loyal supporters," said Ashwin Puri, Associate Athletic Director for Sales, Marketing and Service. "We are excited to accommodate more members of the Cal family and to have a stronger presence against the Buckeyes. It is our continued commitment to provide the `Gold Standard' in customer service."

After reviewing the home and home contract which was established in 2002 prior to start of either current director of athletics' tenure, it was clear the ticket allocations were not sufficient.

"I'm excited we were able to solidify additional tickets for our Cal fans," said Sandy Barbour, Director of Athletics. "We look forward to taking a strong contingent of blue and gold with us to Columbus. Let's show our team how passionately we can support them."

The additional Cal at Ohio State tickets will go on sale starting Wednesday, July 11 on a first-come, first-served basis following the timeline and segment of fans below. Tickets are $70 each with a limit of 20 tickets per account holder and can be ordered by calling (800) GO BEARS (462-3277), online by logging into the season-ticket holder/donor account of record using this link, or by visiting the Athletic Ticket Office at 2223 Fulton Street, 1st floor. Per Big Ten Policy, everyone, regardless of age, must have a ticket to enter Ohio Stadium.

Seating as a Group
The following procedure has been implemented as a benefit to accommodate all fans wishing to sit with friends as a group in the Cal section at Ohio Stadium. Requests to sit together as a group will be taken over the phone by calling (800) GO BEARS (462-3277) beginning Monday, July 16 through Friday, July 20, after patrons have purchased tickets.

One person should be designated as the group leader and must provide the account number, first and last name of each patron wanting to sit with the group. The Gold Standard service staff will personally contact those who requested to sit as a group during the June on sale period. We will work to accommodate each request; however we cannot guarantee seating.
