BERKELEY - Three of Cal's first four games of the 2012 football season will be televised by Pac-12 Networks. The Golden Bears will play Nevada, Southern Utah and USC on the conference's new networks devoted solely to the Pac-12. ESPN2 will televise Cal's game against Washington on Fri., Nov. 2, with kick off slated for 6 p.m. PT.

Both games against Nevada (Sat., Sept. 1) and Southern Utah (Sat., Sept. 8) at a renovated Memorial Stadium will begin at Noon PT, while the start time for the road contest at USC (Sat., Sept. 22) will not be determined until either six or 12 days in advance of the game.

"We're pleased that Pac-12 Networks will telecast our return home to Memorial Stadium," Director of Athletics Sandy Barbour said. "It is symbolic of the beginning of exciting new eras for both the Pac-12 and Cal Athletics. The conference has done a fabulous job in creating this media enterprise which will provide significantly increased exposure our tremendous teams and student-athletes so richly deserve."

"Having three of our first four contests on Pac-12 Networks gives our fans and alumni all over the world an opportunity to closely follow and engage with Cal football," head football coach Jeff Tedford said. "Our conference plays a brand of football that is on par with the best in the country. Pac-12 Networks provides a great opportunity to showcase our program and our student-athletes."

ABC announced earlier this month that it will televise Cal's game at Ohio State on Sat., Sept. 15 (Noon ET/9 a.m. PT).

Kickoff times and television information for each of Cal's other seven regular-season games will be announced either six or 12 days in advance of each contest. Cal will also host Arizona State, Oregon, Stanford and UCLA. The Bears' other three road contests are at Oregon State, Utah and Washington State.

The commercial radio broadcast of all 2012 Cal football games can be heard on the Cal IMG Radio Network, with KGO 810 AM in San Francisco serving as the flagship station. The KGO broadcast is also available live online at CalBears.com.
