Cal Football Offers Fantasy Camp

April 4, 2007

BERKELEY - The California football team is offering men ages 21 and older an opportunity to live out the ultimate fantasy of being a Golden Bear on the grid iron for a day in its annual Cal Football Men's Huddle camp on Saturday, June 2. The cost of the camp is $300.

This one-day package allows adults to participate in a wide range of non-contact football drills while having a great time with friends and fellow Cal fans in historic Memorial Stadium. Once on the field, campers will train for a Saturday game through a series of position specific stations coached by an experienced Cal football staff. After the morning tutorials, members then will feel the ultimate rush when they partake in various one-on-one situations, replicating actual game scenarios with simulated crowd noise, just like the real Cal players do on a weekly basis.

The camp then takes it beyond the field and into the meeting rooms as participants will have the chance to analyze video sessions as if they were an actual player breaking down film.

Then it's game time for fans and the thrill of football Saturday gets even better when campers get to experience the excitement of running out of the North Tunnel as they take the field behind head coach Jeff Tedford.

The camp will provide lunch and a post-camp social including stadium snacks and beverages. Each participant will also receive an official Cal Team Sweatshirt.

If you want to live out this amazing experience and be a part of Cal football for a day, please contact the football office at 510-642-3857, or sign up on the web: Click Here
