BERKELEY - Cal football season-ticket holders who have renewed their seats for the 2013 campaign attended the first day of a two-day special event at Memorial Stadium on Saturday to view available inventory. The Field Club was open for the event and fans were able to select their seats for the upcoming season as well as take photographs with Cal football players and members of the spirit squad on hand.

"This was a great first day of our seat selection event," said Kevin Holman, Director of Customer Service and Retention. "It was good to see many members of our passionate fan base. We are all excited about the 2013 season and the Sonny Dykes era. It's never too early to be talking Cal football. It seemed like everyone had a great time and many fans were able to improve their seats or add on to bring more Cal fans to Memorial Stadium this season."

The selection times for the event that continues Sunday from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. PT were based on priority points.

Cal's 2013 spring football practices at Memorial Stadium are open to the public and begin on Monday, Feb. 25 (4 p.m. PT). The team's spring game will be held at Memorial Stadium on Saturday, March 23 (4 p.m. PT).
