Jeff Tedford to Speak at Bancroft Hotel on Wednesday

BERKELEY - Jeff Tedford, the head coach of the California football team is scheduled to speak to fans at the Bancroft Hotel on Wednesday, Feb. 13. The event is co-sponsored by the Bear Insider and Cal Athletics. The cost is $25.00 per person payable in advance.

Snacks and beverages will be available beginning at 6:00 p.m. The presentation begins at 6:45 p.m. Tedford will narrate videos showing high school highlights of the 2008 recruits who signed National Letters of Intent to attend Cal. Following the videos, there will be a short Q&A session with the coach about the 2008 class.

Room capacity is limited - immediate registration is advised!

Cal is scheduled to begin spring practice on March 17. The Golden Bears open the 2008 season by hosting Michigan State on Saturday, Aug. 30. Cal has posted six straight winning seasons for the first time in over 50 years while advancing to five straight bowl games (with four wins) for the first time in program history.
