HONOLULU, Haw. - Former Cal football players Marshawn Lynch, Lorenzo Alexander and Thomas DeCoud contributed to a 62-35 NFC win over the AFC in the Pro Bowl played Sunday at Aloha Stadium. Aaron Rodgers and Tony Gonzalez were selected as NFC starters for the game but did not play due to injury. The five former Cal players selected for the game tied for the fourth-most among the nation's collegiate football programs.

Lynch finished with four rushes for 21 yards, including a one-yard touchdown run with 1:41 remaining in the second quarter to give the NFC a 24-14 lead. Alexander led the NFC with five tackles, while DeCoud tied for second with four.

All three were selected to the Pro Bowl for the first times in their career this season.

A total of 36 former Cal players (second among Pac-12 teams) spent time on an NFL roster during the 2012 season, including 13 that made the NFL Playoffs.
