CAL CAREER:The team's starter at left tackle, starting at the critical position for the first time in his college career ... has played in 34 games with 23 starts ... granted a sixth year of eligibility for 2009 after missing last season with a pectoral injury.
2009: Has started all seven games at left tackle ... selected first-team preseason All-Pac-10 by Lindy's and Sporting News, as well as second-team by Athlon and Phil Steele.
2008: Missed the entire season with a pectoral injury.
2007: A starter for all 13 games at right tackle ... part of a unit that allowed a league-low 11 sacks (third-lowest total in the nation) ... blocked for a Cal offense that gained 2,154 yards on the ground and included a 1,546-yard season from Justin Forsett.
2006: After recovering from a broken leg during the summer of 2005, started the first two games of his career vs. Portland State and Arizona State, and saw action in all 13 contests at left tackle ... tallied 5.5 knockdown blocks.
