HIGH SCHOOL: Rivals.com listed him as the No. 47 overall prospect in California and No. 32 nationally for outside linebackers ... a PrepStar All-West Region choice ... did not play as a senior due to injury, but set the single-season school record with 165 tackles as a junior, adding 5.0 sacks and a pair of interceptions (one returned for a touchdown).
