Golden Bears look to end campaign on a winning note against nationally-ranked opponent
Nineteen Golden Bear seniors will make their final appearance at Memorial Stadium on Saturday
Season opener at Memorial Stadium scheduled for Sept. 1 vs. Nevada.
CAL CAREER: Did not play during his three seasons with the program from 2010-12.
2012: Did not play.
2011: Did not play.
2010: Redshirted ... did not play ... transferred to Cal from Oregon State in January and took part in spring workouts.
OREGON STATE: Spent two seasons with the football program but did not play ... did not play as a true freshman in 2008 and then missed the 2009 season with a torn ACL.
KAHUKU HS: A first-team All-State and All-Oahu Interscholastic Association quarterback who threw for 1,100 yards and 15 touchdowns as a 2007 senior and set numerous state records, including single-season passer efficiency and the longest pass with a 73-yard completion ... saw action in only approximately half of the possible game time due to his team's lopsided victories ... led his squad to the Division I state title as a senior along with younger brother and former Cal teammate, Kameron Krebs ... squad won a pair of Division I OIA titles in his final two prep campaigns ... MVP of the 2005 Kingdom Bowl that took place on the island of Tonga between Hawaii and the mainland ... also played two seasons of basketball, with his team the state runner-up and league champions during his senior campaign for the school's best showing ever ... also a member of the school's surf team.
PERSONAL: Full name is Kaulin Wayne Krebs ... born September 11, 1987 ... parents are Ken and Kathy Krebs ... one of seven siblings that all have a first name that starts with a "K" like their parents ... has been a surf instructor on the North Shore in Hawaii ... spent two years on a mission ... married to the former Brenn McWhorter ... scheduled to graduate from Cal's Haas School of Business in May of 2013 with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
