WHAT THEY ARE SAYING ESPN: Hughes is a bit of a D-Line 'tweener. If he continues to play in a 3-4 as he does in high school he will be an end, but if he lands at a college that utilizes a four-man front may end up developing into more of an interior player. He has solid height as he looks to be a little taller than he may be listed with solid bulk and room to add some more good size with time in a college weight program ... He does a good job of consistently bringing his hands and maintaining separation when he takes on blockers and demonstrates the ability to play with good pad level and can be physical at the point-of-attack ... An active pass rusher who will work to attack half-a-man and again uses his hands well and works to stay active with them.
