Appeared in only one game as Cal's punter last year after entering the Berkeley campus last fall after a stellar career at Sierra College ... was expected to compete with Tyler Fredrickson at both punter and placekicker last season, but never really got consistent playing time . enjoyed a productive 2004 spring practice, re-establishing himself as a bona fide candidate for the punting job . will compete with incoming Australian David Lonie for the starting spot . 2003 . made his Cal punting debut in the season opener before a national television audience on ESPN, but he never found his groove, averaging 34.0 yards on six punts against No. 7 ranked Kansas State.
