Michael Vallarelli Position: Assistant Coach/Head Recruiter Experience: 3rd Year at Cal Alma Mater: Cal '02

Mike Vallareli, the Boston product who competed at California from 1999 to 2002, serves as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator under Cal head coach Mike Teti. Vallarelli, who rejoined the Cal coaching staff in the summer of 2008, was a volunteer assistant coach at Cal under Steve Gladstone in 2003.

In 2001, Vallarelli coxed the undefeated Pac-10 and IRA national champion Cal varsity eight. He also coxed Cal's varsity eight to IRA and Pac-10 national titles in 2002.

As a member of the U.S. National team, Vallarelli coxed the U.S. four to a sixth-place finish at the 1997 Junior World Championships in Hazelwinkle, Belgium.
