BERKELEY - Comcast SportsNet's coverage of live Cal sports is now available to additional Comcast Cable subscribers throughout the Bay Area.

In addition to CSN's normal distribution channels on digital cable or satellite services, live events can now be seen on Comcast Cable in most Bay Area systems on channel 77. Subscribers in parts of the Delta Valley can view the events on channel 32, in Cupertino on channel 168, and in parts of the East Bay on channel 33.

Non-digital subscribers in the Bay Area must be able to receive the Access TV shopping channel in order to view the live events. The channel will be switched to Comcast SportsNet whenever the Bears are on. See below for a full list of Bay Area systems that receive Access TV.

The expanded Comcast SportsNet coverage affects live Golden Bear events only. The Cal Basketball Report, a weekly 30-minute program devoted to Golden Bear men's and women's basketball, remains available to digital or satellite subscribers in the Bay Area and on normal outlets throughout the rest of the state.
