BERKELEY - The 2012-13 California men's basketball season begins this Sunday, Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. at Haas Pavilion and the value couldn't be better for fans to see the Bears in action. As part of Cal's Gold Standard Sales and Service Initiative, the marketing department has placed a heavy emphasis on value and family-friendly ticket prices and promotions for the upcoming campaign.

Cal basketball is one of the best entertainment values in the Bay Area and tickets for the season opener against CSU Bakersfield on Nov. 11 (and most home games) start at just $10 for youth and seniors, adult tickets begin at $17. Opening Night Promotions
- The first 5,000 fans in attendance at Sunday's season opener will receive an exclusive team poster - the only chance this season to get one.

- Fans of all ages will be invited down to Pete Newell Court to take post-game free throws after the game.

- Cal dining will be providing fans with free small bags of popcorn" at Sunday's game.

Bring On The Value
Similar to 2011-12, currently registered Cal students will receive free admission to the first five games of the season by showing their Cal ID at the student gate. Men's basketball season ticket holders are encouraged to use their complimentary ticket vouchers on Nov. 11 to ensure a packed arena. Fans attending the Cal-Oregon football game on Saturday Nov. 10 can show their ticket stub at the Haas Pavilion ticket booth and receive a special $10 basketball ticket, while supplies last.

Save with Season Tickets or a Partial Season Plan
The 2012-13 season features exciting games including No. 13 ranked UCLA, No. 16 Creighton and No. 18 UNLV, in addition to the always competitive Pac-12 schedule.

Fans looking to save money and get the best seats can join the Bears with season tickets, starting at $136.
