BERKELEY- Sunday's California-USC men's basketball game at 7 p.m. (PT) at Haas Pavilion in Berkeley, Calif., broadcast nationally by Fox Sports Net (FSN), will air on KICU in the Bay Area.
In past years, FSN games have been shown on CSN Bay Area and CSN California in Northern California. However, due to the lack of a broadcast agreement between FOX and Comcast, CSN Bay Area and CSN California are not scheduled to televise Pac-12 FSN games this season.
The conference has been discussing the issue for several months with FOX, but a resolution has not been reached.
In an effort to bring fans in the Bay Area all the action, the Pac-12 Conference has secured KICU to televise the FSN broadcast locally.
KICU can be found on channel 6 on most cable systems and channel 36 on most satellite systems.
This solution will not cover all of Northern California, but at least captures the Bay Area.
Choices for fans also include either FOX College Sports Pacific for cable subscribers or an out-of-market regional sports network (such as FOX Sports Arizona or Fox Sports West) for those with satellite subscriptions. Either service may require a subscription to a sports pack.
Sports bars and restaurants should be able to air the game by showing an FSN regional channel.
Regional sports network options for FOX College Sports Pacific include:
FOX Sports Arizona - DirecTV 686, DISH 5415
ROOT Sports Northwest - DirecTV 687, DISH 414
FOX Sports West - DirecTV 692, DISH 5417
Prime Ticket - DirecTV 693, DISH 411
