Bay Area Viewing Options for Pac-12 Games on FSN

Jan. 2, 2013

BERKELEY - Due to the lack of a broadcast agreement between FOX and Comcast, CSN Bay Area and CSN California are not scheduled to televise Pac-12 FSN games this season, meaning men's basketball fans will need to look elsewhere to catch conference action.

In past years, FSN games have been shown on CSN Bay Area and CSN California in Northern California. Pac-12 associate commissioner Duane Lindberg said the conference has been discussing the issue for several months with FOX, but a resolution has not been reached.

Choices for fans now include either FOX College Sports Pacific for cable subscribers or an out-of-market regional sports network (such as FOX Sports Arizona or Fox Sports West) for those with satellite. Either service may require a subscription to a sports pack.

To find FOX College Sports Pacific, click on this channel finder link. Regional sports network options include:

FOX Sports Arizona - DirecTV 686, DISH 5415
ROOT Sports Northwest - DirecTV 687, DISH 414
FOX Sports West - DirecTV 692, DISH 5417
Prime Ticket - DirecTV 693, DISH 411

Cal has several games set to be aired on FSN this season, including Thursday's Pac-12 opener at UCLA that tips off at 8 p.m. Other games on FSN are:

Saturday, Jan. 5 at USC
Saturday, Jan. 19 at Stanford
Sunday, Jan. 27 at Colorado
Saturday, Feb. 2 vs. Oregon
Sunday, Feb. 17 vs. USC

The Bears' remaining regular-season contests will be aired on ESPN2, ESPNU or the Pac-12 Networks.

Among the places around the Bay Area where fans can catch Thursday's Cal-UCLA game are:
