OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - Geno Carlisle scored 17 points, and four others reached double figures as California defeated Eastern Washington 94-63 in its home opener Wednesday.

Shannon Taylor scored 18 points to lead the Eagles (1-2).

Cal forward Sean Lampley, who suffered a thumb injury during the preseason, saw his first action Wednesday and contributed 16 points.

Michael Gill added 14 and Carl Boyd had 11 points for the Bears (2-0).

California went on a 27-15 run in the final 10 minutes of the first half, sparked by three straight 3-pointers from Thomas Kilgore, who scored 12 of his 14 points in the first half.

That run turned a 19-all tie into a 46-34 Bears' advantage at half-time.

Will Levy had 11 points for Eastern Washington and Ryan Hansen added 10.
