As a Freshman in 2005-06: Joined the team from Belgrade after the end of the fall 2005 semester, gaining eligibility for Cal's Dec. 21 game vs. DePaul (DNP) ... served as the Bears' primary backup at point guard ... appeared in all but one Pac-10 game (at Oregon State) ... saw his first significant action vs. Oregon Jan. 5 when he scored four points in 17 minutes ... dished out three assists in a home win over Stanford and came through in the Bears' next game vs. Arizona with four assists in six minutes of action ... played well the final weekend of the regular season, finishing with five points and two assists vs. UCLA and three points and four assists (no turnovers) against USC ... injured his right knee in a summer workout after the season and had surgery to repair loose cartilage June 26, 2006.
High School: Rated the No. 3 point guard and No. 17 overall player at the adidas Superstar Camp in the summer of 2005 ... played for the Serbia-Montenegro Junior National team at the Under-18 European Championships in 2004 ... as a member of his Beovuk '72 club team, helped the squad to a pair of Serbian titles and two Serbia-Montenegro championships.
