BERKELEY, CALIF. - The California Baseball Program has announced its plans for its 2007 Alumni Weekend, Oct. 13-15.

On Saturday, Oct. 13, former Cal baseball players and supporters are invited to the Cal versus Oregon State Homecoming football game at Memorial Stadium (time TBA). On Sunday, Oct. 14, the annual Cal Baseball Alumni Game will be held at Evans Diamond at 1:00 p.m. and will feature former Golden Bear players versus the 2007 Cal Baseball Team.

On Monday, Oct. 15, the Bullpen Club Golf Classic will be held at the Contra Costa Country Club in Pleasant Hill, Calif. beginning at 10 a.m. with check in at 8:30 a.m. The tournament is open to both men and women and the deadline for tournament entry is October 1. The tournament will be strictly limited to 144 players.

The cost to play in the Bullpen Golf Classic is $300 per person. There will be a dinner, as well as a silent and live auction following the tournament that will benefit the 2008 Cal Baseball Team. If you don't enjoy golf, you can still join us for dinner and the auction for just $25 per person.

If you are unable to attend or would like to support this tournament and the Cal Baseball Team there are tee, green, and tournament sponsorships available. Donations for the silent and live auction are also welcome.

For more information on the Cal Baseball Alumni Weekend, or if you are considering sponsorship or a donation for the tournament, please contact Dan Hubbs at 510-642-9591 or e-mail at dwhubbs@berkeley.edu.
