AS A FRESHMAN (2011):

- Was named a Freshman All-American by Baseball America, Collegiate Baseball, Perfect Game and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers
- Was a member of the 2011 Houston Regional All-Tournament Team
- Finished 6-0 with a 1.89 ERA and two saves (four starts and 25 appearances)
- Had 57 strikeouts and only 15 walks in 57.0 innings
- Earned Cal's first victory in the College World Series since 1980 in start June 21 vs. Texas A&M (6.0 innings, seven hits, three runs, one walk, four strikeouts)
