Redshirted last season and is still recovering from rotator cuff surgery in May of 2006...a freshman left-hander who will eventually provide the Bears with a solid middle reliever...throws in the high 80s to low 90s with a curveball and change-up.
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: At Jesuit High School in Sacramento finished his junior campaign 6-3 with two saves and a 2.46 ERA, striking out 71 batters in 59.7 innings...earned first-team All-Delta League and second-team Sacramento Bee All-City honors, and recorded a no-hitter against McClatchy High School...in the summer of 2005 was selected to USA Baseball's Tournament of the Stars in Joplin, Mo., where he had 10 strikeouts in 5.0 innings with an opponent batting average of .167...undeclared major... parents are Del and Donna Oros...born October 13, 1987 in Seattle, Wash.
