One of the top pitchers in Cal history...his 26 career victories are still in the records books and once ranked as high the second highest ever at Cal...was a 10-game winner with a 1.84 ERA in 1941 when Cal was 37-11 and tied for the CIBA title...was 10-0 in 10 career appearances against Stanford...team captain as a senior...former Executive Director of the Alumni Association...founder and continued supervisor of the Lair of the Bear summer camp, the largest Alumni Association camp in the world...former president of the Big C Society...passed away July 1, 2003.
