A superb all-around baseball player who holds several Cal career records...is on eight different school career record lists: games played (244), at bats (903), runs (230), RBI (189), game-winning RBI (18), total bases (445), stolen bases (187) and walks (180)...earned All-America honors as a third baseman as a junior in 1985...earned all-conference honors all four seasons, as a utility player in 1983 and '84, as a third baseman in '85 and as an outfielder in '86...played pro baseball with the Oakland A's from 1988 to '93.
