Cal Baseball Visits No. 14 Stanford

It will be the final conference series for seven Golden Bear seniors, including five key contributors - right-hander Matt Flemer, catcher Chadd Krist, outfielder Chad Bunting, right-hander Joey Donofrio and outfielder Danny Oh.

Bear seniors played a huge part in the victory with catcher Chadd Krist going 2-for-4 with a home run, and Joey Donofrio earning the win in relief.

The Cal Baseball Story | Bear Blog Feature on Cal's Win Over WSU | Cal Baseball Foundation | Cal Baseball Historic Slide Show | For the second day in a row Cal baseball gave up runs early to UCLA and it ended up costing the Golden Bears, falling to the Bruins, 8-5, Saturday. UCLA scored seven runs in the first three innings before Cal's bullpen shut down the Bruins, yielding only one run in the final six innings. Offensively senior Chad Bunting went 3-for-4 with a double.

Cal Loses to No. 11 UCLA, 7-2

The Cal Baseball Story | Bear Blog Feature on Cal's Win Over WSU | Cal Baseball Foundation | Cal Baseball Historic Slide Show | Cal scored two runs and barely missed a grand slam in the ninth inning, but still fell to UCLA, 7-2, Friday (May 18) at Evans Diamond. Pinch hitters Jacob Wark and Michael Theofanopoulos, and senior left fielder Danny Oh, led-off the ninth with three singles and later in the inning junior first baseman Mitch Delfino flew out to the warning track to just miss a grand slam.
