BERKELEY - Two members of the California men's cross country team have earned All-Pac-10 honors, as announced by the conference. Senior Yosef Ghebray was a first-team selection, while fellow senior Mark Matusak was named to the second team. This is the second straight year that Ghebray made the first team and Matusak made the second team.

Ghebray earned All-America honors when he placed 36th at the NCAA Championships. He led the Bears in their most important races of the season. In four of the five races he participated in this year, Ghebray was the top finisher for Cal. His best time of the year came at the Pac-10 Championships, when he clocked a time of 23:43 and placed sixth. It was the second time he placed sixth overall in a race (Stanford Invitational - 24:28).

Matusak's best race of the season came at the Pac-10 Championships, placing 14th with a time of 23:56. He also paced the Bears at the Pre-NCAA meet. In that national meet, Matusak toured the course in 24:00 and took 16th overall. His best finish of the year came at the Stanford Invitational where he took seventh overall, crossing the finish line at 24:30.
