BERKELEY - Senior Deborah Maieris this week's California Muscle Milk Athlete of the Week after she finished 11th at the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Nov. 21, leading the Cal women's cross country team to an 18th-place finish - the squad's best showing since 1988.

Maier earned All-America honors for the second straight time in her career and her 11th-place result tied for the highest in school history.
