Miller, who has a 3.78 GPA as a double major in political economy and business administration, was also a first-team choice in 2009 and a second-team pick in 2008 (he redshirted in 2010). Chevee is a three-time member of the second-team squad and has a 3.57 GPA in molecular and cell biology. Maier is also a multiple time honoree after garnering second-team status last year. She owns a 3.79 GPA in political science. Those earning honorable mention academic recognition are: Matt Petersen, Renaud Poizat, Cody Schmidt, Heather Cerney, Taylor Dutch, Elisa Karhu, Keena Kohl and Chelsea Reilly. Maier, Reilly, Dutch, Karhu and Kohl were all members of the Cal travel party that competed at the NCAA Championships on Monday, leading the Bears to an 18th-place national finish. Both Maier (11th) and Reilly (24th) were in the top 25 individually and picked up All-American honors.
