BERKELEY - California's 10-meet cross country schedule for the fall 2012 season includes trips to Virginia and Wisconsin, plus an appearance on the Pac-12 Networks at the conference championships.

Much of the Bears' slate takes place in Northern California with visits to meets in San Francisco, Sacramento, Stanford, Sunnyvale and Davis. Cal first ventures off the West Coast for its first trip to the Panorama Farms Invitational in Charlottesville, Va., Sept. 22, then makes a return trip to the Bronco Invitational held in Madison, Wis., Oct. 12. Last year, the Bear women placed seventh in the highly competitive field, while the Cal men were 25th in a lineup that featured 20 ranked schools among 39 total teams.

The Pac-12 Championships are set for Saturday, Oct. 27 at Robinson Ranch Country Club in Santa Clarita, Calif. The meet will be the first conference championship televised by the new Pac-12 Networks. The air date will be announced during the fall.

The Pac-12 Networks launch August 15 and will consist of one national and six regional networks devoted solely to the Pac-12. In addition to the hundreds of live televised Pac-12 sporting events, Pac-12 Networks subscribers will have access to their carrier's TV Everywhere platform, providing access to all Pac-12 Networks programming on any device through their broadband service. Fans can find out if they can get Pac-12 Networks by visiting the channel finder button on CalBears.com or by contacting their television provider.
