Cross Country: As a freshman, took seventh place at the San Francisco State Invitational...toured the course in 19:38 (30th place) at the San Francisco Invitational...finished third among the Bears at the Pac-10 Championships (21:43, 48th). Track: In 2008, regionally qualified at the Big Meet with a time of 10:37.28 that ranks second on Cal's all-time charts...in 2007 as a freshman, garnered Cal's best time of the season in the 3000-meter steeplechase at the Big Meet (11:15.16)...at the Aggie Open in the 800 meters, clocked in at 2:14.73...earned Cal's third-best time of the season in the 1500 meters at the Stanford Invitational (4:37.08)...secured a time of 5:01.49 in the mile at the MPSF Indoor Championships...at the California Collegiate Challenge, came away with a time of 18:19.35 in the 5000-meter race. High School: A 2006 graduate of University City High School...participated in varsity track for four years and varsity cross country for three years...came to Cal with lifetime-best times of 5:02 in the 1600 meters and 2:16 in the 800 meters.
