Senior (2008): Named the 2008 Pac-10 Women's Track Athlete of the Year...at the 2008 NCAA Championships, did not run in the semifinals of the 800 meters due to a minor foot injury suffered at the end of her preliminary race the day before. ...won her second-straight NCAA West Regional title in the 800 with a meet-record time of 2:00.77, breaking her former record time of 2:02.12, which she set a year ago...won her second straight 800-meter Pac-10 title with a time of 2:00.57 that was a season best and also a meet record; the previous record time was 2:01.74, set by Johnson at the 2007 Pac-10 Championships...made her outdoor debut at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational, taking second with a time of 2:04.94...placed third with a time of 2:08.70 at the Husky Classic, provisionally qualifying for the NCAA Indoor Championships in her first race of 2008...with an MPSF and indoor school record of 2:03.39 at the MPSF Championships, automatically qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships...took third in the NCAA Indoor Championships with a time of 2:05.47.

Sophomore (2006): Johnson had a spectacular second season, culminating in a third-place finish and All-America honors in the 800 meters at the NCAA championships in a then lifetime-best time of 2:03.04...she actually set three PRs in the 800 during NCAAs, running a 2:05.10 when she won the preliminary race and then a 2:04.76 in the semifinal...Johnson set another new PR, and Cal's second-fastest time ever, when she took fourth in the 800 with a time of 2:01.80 at the 2006 USA Outdoor Championships...also last summer, she ran a 2:03.87 to win the 800 at the North American, Central American and Caribbean (NACAC) Under-23 championships in the Dominican Republic...she ran a 2:06.85 to take second place in the 800 at Pac-10 championships...ran on Cal's 4x400-meter relay team that took fourth (3:38.56) at Pac-10s...ran a lifetime-best time of 53.01 in the 400 at the Big Meet...during the indoor season, she earned All-America honors when she took third in the 800 at NCAAs with a time of 2:06.42...in a prelim heat at NCAAs, she ran a lifetime-best 2:05.49 to set a new indoor record for Cal...Johnson had previously set Cal's indoor record in the 800 by taking second in 2:05.53 at the MPSF championships.
