Online Entry Opens: Feb. 10-27, 2012. Entries close at noon PT.

Entry Information: Go to DirectAthletics.com to enter your athletes. All entries should be submitted online. No faxed entries will be accepted.

Entries Close: Monday, Feb. 27 at 12 noon PT. All entries will be considered declared at this time. THE FINAL SCHEDULE, ALONG WITH START LISTS, WILL BE POSTED BY FRIDAY, MARCH 2, AT 5:00 PM.

Scratches/Changes: Please provide scratches on day of meet. If you need to add additional athletes, please go to clerking area and speak with the clerk. Athletes will be added where space is available. If you need to add field athletes, please go to the field event desired and speak with the head official. For seeding purposes, entry times will be used to create the best quality fields possible for each event.

Rules of Competition: Competition will be governed by the most recently available edition of the NCAA track and field rules book, with exceptions as agreed upon by head coaches from California, Stanford, Fresno State and USF.

Packet Pick-up: You can pick up your packet on Saturday, March 3, at Edwards Stadium at the North Entrance (Schlessinger entrance/tennis courts side) between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon. This will include bib numbers and heat sheets. Any scratches or changes should be expressed at this time.

Bib numbers: Bib numbers should be worn on the front of jersey except in vertical jumps where the athlete may choose.

Warm-Ups: All warm-ups are to be done outside of Edwards Stadium.

Facility restrictions: 1⁄4" (7mm) pyramid or Christmas tree spikes are allowed on the track. For the javelin and high jump aprons, 3/16" (9mm) are allowed. NO PINS. Athletes caught wearing pin spikes or spikes that are too large may be disqualified from competition.

Facility: The track is 400 meter Martin Surface. The lanes are 42" wide. The horizontal jumps, pole vault and high jump will be contested on one pit.

Lanes: For seeding purposes lane priority will be: 4,5,3,6,2,7,1,8

Results: Results will be posted to http://www.rtspt.com/events/cal/opener12/

Shower facilities: No shower facilities will be available.
