WALNUT, Calif. - California senior Erin Belger ran the best 800 meter race of her career at the Mount SAC Relays Saturday to automatically qualify for the NCAA Championships. Belger, a native of Albuquerque, N.M., won the fastest flight of the 800m in 2:04.60, bettering her previous Cal best of 2:07.66 set as a sophomore.

In the men's 800m, Cal junior Mike Pestorich clocked a PR for the second-straight week. He placed third in a heat of the University/Open Division in 1:52.06.

The 400m also was a strong event for the Bears. Cal junior Mark Blanco and freshman Randy Fair posted PRs in separate heats of the University/Open 400m, finishing second (48.07) and fourth (48.29), respectively. Sophomore Chloe Jarvis took third in a 400m University/Open heat with a PR of 56.33.

Below are the Cal results from Friday and those that were available as of Saturday evening. The 44th-annual Mount SAC Relays conclude tomorrow.
