AS A JUNIOR IN 2001-02: Held the Golden Bears' second-best times in the 100m (10.92w) and 200m (21.7ht)...placed second in both the 100m (11.14) and 200m (21.7) at the USC Invitational.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2000-01: Clocked a PR of 10.85 in the 100m at the Big Meet and a then-PR of 21.90 in the 200m at the Pac-10 Championships...also was a wide receiver on the Cal football team...honorable mention Academic All-Pac-10 for football in 2000.
HIGH SCHOOL: At Ayala HS, garnered first team all-league honors in track and field...clocked a 10.6 in the 100m at the Junior Olympics in the summer of '97...ran a PR of 21.68 in the 200m.
PERSONAL: Brian Patrick White was born Jan. 11, 1980, in Orange, CA...parents are Bosie and Cynthia White...father played football at South Carolina in the 1970s...political science major.
