Freshman (2008): Clocked a time of 12.08 in the prelims of the 100 meters at the NCAA Championships and placed eighth (44.32) on Cal's 4x100 relay with Kimyon Broom, Kristin Holmes and Kandi Bonty...earned NCAA bid in the 100 meters by taking second overall with a time of 11.45 at the NCAA West Regional...logged a new PR in the preliminary race at the regional with a time of 11.41, which tied her for second best in the conference, and improved her second-best time in school history and her school freshman record time...posted a time of 11.45 in the final of the 100-meter dash, taking second at the Pac-10 Championships, and took first in the prelims, with a time of 11.44, which was a school freshman record and the second-best 100-meter time in school history...also at the conference meet, clocked a season-best, NCAA regional-qualifying time of 23.73 that ranks sixth in school history...at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational, was a member of the women's 4x100-meter relay also consisting of Kimyon Broom, Kristin Holmes and Kandi Bonty that took first with a regional-qualifying time of 44.85, which also ranks fourth all-time in school history...a three-time winner at the Big Meet, claiming top honors in the 100-meter dash, the 200 meters and the 4x100 relay, in which she ran the final leg...ranked No. 24 in the nation in the 100 meters...clocked a regional-qualifying time of 11.51 in the 100 meters...part of the 4x100 relay, with Bonty, Kimyon Broom and Kayla Dixon that logged a season-best, regional-qualifying time of 45.03...provisionally qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships in the 60-meter with a personal-best time of 7.40.
High School: Comes to Cal with personal bests of 11.44 in the 100 and 23.68 in the 200...came in third in the state championships in the 100 and the 200...while attending Mount Eden High School, was a league champion in the 100, the 200 and the 4x100 relay...competed in last year's Junior Olympics...won the African American Academic Award for most improved GPA.
