CALIFORNIA - Collier begins the 2001 season as a SENIOR co-captain with Wayne Boddy...as a JUNIOR in 2000, finished first at the Big Meet in the hammer with a PR of 203-6...his PR in the hammer also was an NCAA provisional mark and ranks fourth on Cal's all-time performers' list...also posted a PR of 170-9 (second place) in the discus at the Big Meet as Cal's top mark of 2000...earned Cal's Most Improved Male Athlete award...as a SOPHOMORE in 1999, finished eighth in the hammer at the Pac-10 meet with a throw of 189-0...set his then-hammer throw PR of 189-7 at the California/Nevada meet...set his then-discus PR of 165-7 and his shot put PR of 45-7.75 at the Big Meet...as a FRESHMAN in 1998, recorded his then-shot put PR of 42-8.75 at the Cal Invitational, then-discus PR of 159-8 at the Big Meet and then-hammer PR of 186-4 at the Mt. SAC Relays...competed for the Canadian junior national team during the summer of 1997...finished fifth in the hammer at the Pan American junior meet.
