Director/Manager of Ticket Operations

Job Responsibilities:
• Oversees and manages the overall and day to day operations for the Athletic Ticket Office. 
• Formulates, proposes, and implements standard operating policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines relevant to ticket operations. Ensures sound accounting procedures for ticket operations and inventory control.
• Leads ticketing operations for football and manages all football game day ticket operations.  Responsible for the set-up of auxiliary box offices.  Works with Event Management to ensure security needs are met for the event.  Manages player-guest admissions, media pass list, recruit admissions, will call admissions, and game day ticket sales.  Responds to customer service issues.  Maintains accurate records for attendance calculations.
• As the Department's expert with regard to ticket operations, regularly provides guidance to leadership to other departmental units with regard to procedures and protocol.

Assistant Athletic Trainer

Job Description:
The Assistant Athletic Trainer will work with Intercollegiate Athletic Division I athletics teams and other sports/duties as assigned.  He/she will work in collaboration with staff, Head Athletic Trainer, and team physicians and will assist with the direct provision of injury evaluation, athletic training and rehabilitation services for intercollegiate athletes.
Job Responsibilities:
Daily operations for the athletic training room as above, and also including the following:
• Sport team responsibilities/assignments as specified by Head Athletic Trainer communication with coaches and student athletes of assigned teams
• Coordinating with physicians/medical personnel on care of student athletes

Men's Gymnastics Head Coach

Revenue Assistant

:  The Revenue Assistant will review and approve deposits made through the development office and provide necessary back up to University Relations (UREL).  This position will aid in streamlining the deposit process and assist with reconciliations of department revenues.  The Revenue Assistant will also ensure that donor pledges are up to date and that transactions post to the correct chart of account.  This position is part of the Business and Finance Office in IA and reports directly to the Revenue Analyst.

Equipment Manager

The equipment manager is responsible for equipment safety standards, policy, compliance and inventory.  The Equipment Manager, under the general supervision of the Director, will assist with the overall equipment operation of the 29 Division 1 varsity sports to include the involvement with both Men's and Women's programs.  This position's responsibilities include: ordering, sizing, inventory, issuing, returning, maintaining, and monitoring all apparel and equipment for the Athletic Department.  The Equipment Manager reports to the Director of Equipment and is part of a team of 6 full time employees plus student workers.

• Maintain inventory records of all assigned athletic teams.
• Fit student-athletes with proper size of equipment and uniforms.
• Work closely with assigned coaches, advising them with respect to the purchase, issue and return of all athletic equipment.
• Supervise and account for the issue, return, storage, and maintenance of the athletic equipment for assigned intercollegiate sports.
• Coordinate laundry to implement process for all practice and game clothing, uniforms in order to support team practice and games for each assigned sport.

Senior Associate Director, Major Gifts

Job Description:
The Athletic Development Office, which is the sole fundraising group for IA, is responsible for major gifts, annual giving, athletic campaigns, donor stewardship and alumni relations. We are currently seeking two (2) Senior Associate Directors of Major Gifts.  This position is responsible for helping to meet the fundraising objectives of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and ensuring that predetermined fundraising goals with regard to major gifts are met. 
 
Under the supervision of the Assistant Athletic Director for Major Gifts, the Major Gift Officer (MGO) is responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major gift-level prospective donors.
 
The MGO has responsibility for developing and managing the Athletic Department's relationships with its valued supporters and must ensure these relationships are nurtured and maintained for the benefit of the department over time.  The MGO will be assigned a specific portfolio based department objectives of donors and prospects that have the potential to give at the major gift level. 
Job Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and direct large-scale fundraising campaigns which include multiple components.
o Manage a portfolio of 200+ major gift prospects, with the capacity to give between $25,000 and above.
o Make at least 12-15 substantive contacts per month (e.g. significant moves that advance a relationship).
o Qualify major gift prospects and solicit gifts directly.
o Ensure that predetermined fundraising goals are met, including major gift and other key initiatives.
o Design and implement customized, donor-specific cultivation and solicitation strategies.
o Work closely with administrators, coaches, staff and volunteers to participate in the identification, cultivation and solicitation of major gifts.

o Comply with University policies regarding managing prospects, updating CADS database and other policies.
Assist with the structuring and development of Intercollegiate Athletics fundraising efforts, including the development of new fundraising strategies, new ways to structure gifts and new fundraising marketing materials.

Facilities Intern - Dispatcher & Administration Support

The Facilities unit manages a variety of sports facilities ranging from large spectator venues such as California Memorial Stadium (CMS) and Haas Pavilion to specialty areas such as Spieker Pool and the Hellman Tennis Complex.  The Facilities budget is $3.9 million and the unit is comprised of 27 employees.    The Facilities Intern Dispatch and Administrative support position has been established to assist with the planning and execution of maintenance and operational tasks at IA facilities.

• Assist with the development, execution and tracking of the preventive maintenance  program for CMS, Simpson Center, Haas Pavilion and other IA facilities  
• Manage the new on-line Facilities Request program

• Assist with management and tracking of warranty items with Capital Projects, Webcor, and sub-contractors at California Memorial Stadium

Director of Stewardship

The Director of Stewardship contributes to the department's fundraising goals by creating, directing and managing the stewardship plan for multiple groups within the Intercollegiate Athletics Department with a specific focus on principal donors, funds and foundations.  She/He is responsible for leading the success of the department's overall stewardship goals.  The Director of Stewardship will develop and maintain personal relationships and rapport with principal donors.  She/He will represent Intercollegiate Athletics at various sports and other events both on and off campus and foster relationships with donors at such events. 
Reporting to the Assistant Athletic Director for Major Gifts, the Director of Stewardship will design custom reporting for various individuals and groups, create detailed compelling case statements for raising funds and create and manage collateral and communications for fundraising initiatives.  She/He will be responsible for developing and maintaining standardized pricing for department wide pledge and fund documentation and liaise with University Relations to ensure consistency in reporting and stewarding donors as well as act as the primary liaison with other campus units on reporting standards and integration.  Working with the Director of Athletic Campaigns, she/he will design and implement naming recognition plans and procedures for capital project campaigns.  The Director of Stewardship will spearhead and direct the selection committee for annual student-athlete named scholarship recipients and manage student-athlete and coach interaction with donors.

Programmer/Systems Analyst
