Spring Football Experience

Fans of all ages are invited to join the Golden Bears at the Cal Spring Football Experience on Saturday, April 21 to watch practice, meet the team, take part in an autograph session, enter to win a trip to Columbus for Cal at Ohio State and more. The free event is part of Cal Day festivities on campus and will take place at Edwards Stadium. Fans can enter the venue at the South Entrance located at the corner of Fulton Street and Bancroft Way in Berkeley.

Travel and Transportation
With a large crowd expected for Cal Day, parking on the campus and in the immediate area is expected to be at a premium. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and/or take public transportation, with the Downtown Berkeley BART station just one block west of Edwards Stadium. Gates Open at 10 a.m.
To kick off the 2012 season and the much-anticipated return of Cal football to Berkeley and a renovated California Memorial Stadium, the Cal Athletic Department is welcoming all fans to arrive early, receive unique gifts and complimentary food from our partners.

    • Five lucky fans attempt to catch a touchdown pass from a Cal quarterback. Score a touchdown, keep the ball.

    • Four teams will battle it out in our relay race for spring football bragging rights
  • Dizzy Bat Challenge
    • Four contestants will spin around a bat with their Cal football player partner and complete a 40- yard dash for prizes
  • Punt Return
    • Five lucky fans will have the chance to catch a punt and return it for a touchdown
