FunZone, presented by Subway
On football Saturdays, come early, beat the traffic, and head to FunZone - the official Cal Football Tailgate Headquarters! Starting two and one-half hours prior to each home game, FunZone is the perfect spot to enjoy the Cal pregame festivities and meet up with friends, family, and former classmates on game day. FunZone is open to all fans and admission is FREE. Hosted on Maxwell Family Field - located just 50 yards north of Memorial Stadium - FunZone features something for every Cal fan! • Food and Drinks! New for 2004, we've expanded our food options with West Best BBQ, grilling right on the premises, and fresh sandwiches from Subway. Cancun Taqueria, Compadres, and West Coast Pizza return to round out the selections. Also available are a wide variety of Coca-Cola soft drink products.
• KidsZone interactive play area! Interactive and inflatable games are stationed in the KidsZone youth play area. In addition, the Cal Gymnastics team provides face painting and temporary Cal tattoos to get young fans ready for kick-off.
• Pyramid Alehouse Beer Garden! Relax and enjoy the festivities in the popular Pyramid Alehouse Beer Garden. The Garden features great ales straight from Berkeley's best-known brewery. • Join the "March to Victory" - Cal Football's newest tradition! Come out early for the Golden Bears' "March to Victory," where fans welcome the Cal Football team to Memorial Stadium on game day. Approximately two hours and twenty minutes before kick-off, Cal fans and spirit groups meet at FunZone to form a human tunnel as the Cal players and coaches walk from the team bus toward the locker room. • Live Appearances by Oski and the University of California Marching Band!
