Take Public Transportation to the Game

 

It's easy! Take BART to the game.

Take BART to the Downtown Berkeley station and hop on Cal football shuttle to the stadium in front of the Bank of America building on Shattuck Avenue. Fans can also walk to the West Crescent and take a cable car up to Memorial Stadium through campus. The shuttle begins service 2 hours before kickoff. Capitol Corridor takes you in style from Sacramento to Berkeley (and back).

The Capitol Corridor runs from Sacramento to the Bay Area daily and offers train rides to every Cal football home game. Take the Capitol Corridor to either the Richmond or Oakland Coliseum BART stations. Then ride BART to the Downtown Berkeley station, where you can pick up the Cal football shuttle. Memorial Stadium made easy!

Every gameday Saturday, rush to the game on the CalBearsBus, the only continuous express shuttle service serving Memorial Stadium. Routes run from the Rockridge BART Station, the Amtrak Station at Third Street and University Avenue in Berkeley, and from Contra Costa County. The charge is $5 round trip. Catch the Cal Football Shuttle!

This shuttle service from the West Crescent (at main entrance to campus on Oxford Street) to Memorial Stadium travels uphill through the center of campus. The West Crescent is just one block from the Downtown Berkeley BART station. Additional campus shuttles also run 2 hours prior to kickoff and circle the perimeter of campus. Shuttle signs along the streets identify the several various pick-up locations.
