Siu's Journey To Cal
Siulagisipai Fuimaono, a 6-4, 290-pound freshman nose guard on the Cal football team, is a native of Okinawa, Japan. He became the first student-athlete to receive a full scholarship to an NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision school from Kadena High School in Okinawa. Raised in a military family, Fuimaono was born in Arizona and briefly lived in the state of Washington before moving to Okinawa.
