Cal Finishes Second on Senior Night

BERKELEY – In its last home meet of the regular season, California finished second recording 395.750 team points as the No. 8 Golden Bears struggled to find their footing.

Finishing with their lowest team score of the season, the Bears dropped to MPSF conference opponent No. 10 Air Force (403.900), but finished ahead of No. 20 SC United (289.950).

Cal's Aaron Mah (81.600) and Yordan Aleksandrov (78.350) finished in second and third, respectively in the all-around competition. Tim Wang of the Air Force won the all-around with a score of 84.600.

Mah and Aleksandrov posted a pair of event titles with Mah winning on floor scoring a 14.850 and Aleksandrov taking horizontal bar after recording a 14.150.

The Bears will be on the road for their final two regular season meets, starting with a trip to Seattle on March 4 to take on Washington's club team at 7 p.m. (PT).
