With tonight's 45-40 loss, the Golden Bears fall to 1-1 on the season. Cal is now 0-4 vs. San Diego State when facing the Aztecs in San Diego.

Quarterback
Davis Webb finished the night 41-for-72 for 522 yards and 5 touchdowns. Through two games as Cal's starter, he is a combined 79-of-126 for 963 yards and 9 TDs.

With his 522 yards at San Diego State and 441 yards vs. Hawaii, Webb is the second consecutive Cal QB to pass for at least 400 yards in his first two games.
Jared Goff had 450 vs. Northwestern and 485 vs. Portland State in 2013.

Webb's 72 attempts were a school record, breaking the mark of 64 by
Jared Goff vs. Northwestern on Aug. 31, 2013. Webb's 41 completions were just shy of the Cal mark of 43, set by Rich Campbell vs. Florida in 1980.

Webb's 522 passing yards rank third on Cal's all-time single game list. Goff had a school-record 542 yards vs. Arizona State in 2015 and 527 yards at Washington State in 2014.

Twelve different Bears recorded at least one reception in the game, led by 14 from
Chad Hansen, who ended the night with 190 yards, his second-straight 100-yard performance after reaching the century mark for the first time in his career against Hawaii.

Demetris Robertson caught his first touchdown of the season on a 59-yard reception. It was the longest play of the year for the Bears.

Raymond Hudson caught his first career touchdown on a 21-yard pass in the second quarter.

Matt Anderson made field goals from 45 and 36 yards to run his streak to 15 in a row. He has also connected on 20 of his past 21 attempts.

Evan Rambo recorded his first career interception on the first play of the fourth quarter.

Darius Allensworth notched his 19th career pass breakup, which leads all active Bears.

DeVante Wilson recorded his second career sack, first of this season.

Luke Rubenzer earned his second career fumble recovery and his first career tackle for loss, as well.

Vic Wharton hauled in a career-best 35-yard pass. He caught a 28-yarder against Hawai'i.
