Nick Parsons joined the Athletic Development staff as an intern in June 2006, and was promoted to Development Associate in September 2007. Nick arrived in Berkeley after spending one year as a development associate in the Victors Club at the University of Michigan. There he played a front-line role in Michigan's implementation of its preferred seat donation program while also assisting with fundraising for various capital projects on the Michigan athletic campus.
Prior to his time in Ann Arbor, Nick earned his M.Ed. in sport administration from Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn. He also served as an events intern for the Nashville Sports Council, working on the staff of the Music City Bowl, NCAA Basketball Tournament and the U.S. Gymnastics National Championships.
A native of Birmingham, Ala., Nick earned a B.A. in journalism from the University of Alabama and served as publications intern for Crimson Tide Sports Marketing his senior year in Tuscaloosa.
