BERKELEY - Head coach Jeff Tedford, Director of Athletics Sandy Barbour, defensive lineman Ernest Owusu, freshman forward Reshanda Gray and Craig Way from the Texas Longhorn broadcast team will join host Todd McKim on Monday's Cal Coaches Corner. The program airs from 6-7 p.m. on 910 AM, while fans can watch in person from the Paragon at the Claremont Hotel, Club and Spa.

Tedford will guide his Bears into the Dec. 28 Holiday Bowl against Texas, Cal's eighth bowl appearance in the last nine years. The Bears and Longhorns are both 7-5 overall and will be facing each other for the first time in more than 40 years.

Barbour plans to talk about some of the highlights from Cal's fall seasons, as well as provide fans all the information they need to enjoy a trip to San Diego to follow the Bears to the bowl game.

Owusu, a senior from Nashville, Tenn., is tied for the team lead with 4.5 sacks. He has 27 total tackles on the year, including 7.5 for loss. Owusu received the Dink Artal Award for best exemplifying team spirit among Cal's defensive players at the team's annual end-of-the-year banquet Sunday night.

Gray, a 6-3 freshman forward from Los Angeles, was named MVP of the Cal Classic, presented by DoubleTree by Hilton Berkeley Marina, after scoring 23 points in the championship game win over UNLV Sunday. For the season, she leads the 6-2 Bears with 12.5 ppg on 66.7 percent shooting from the field.

Way is in his 20th year as a member of the Texas football broadcast team, including the last 10 years as the Longhorns' play-by-play announcer.

The Cal Coaches Corner is broadcast each Monday from August through March and includes interviews and features with Golden Bear coaches, student-athletes and alumni from all 29 intercollegiate sports.
