The Cal Coaches Corner transitions to the men's and women's basketball portion of the show this week, as Golden Bear basketball head coaches Mike Montgomery and Lindsay Gottlieb will be on Monday's show. Joining the coaches will be freshman Tyrone Wallace from the men's team and a women's basketball player. The program airs live from the Paragon at the Claremont Hotel, Club and Spa from 6-7 p.m. Monday. Fans can watch in person or listen on NewsTalk 910 AM.

The 6-1 men's basketball team suffered its first loss of the season at Wisconsin on Sunday afternoon. The Bears now come home for a five-game homestand to close out the nonconference portion of the schedule. Cal next faces UNLV at Haas Pavilion on Sunday, Dec. 9, at 3 p.m.

The tenth-ranked women's basketball team (6-1) also lost its first game of the season on Sunday, a 77-63 final at No. 4 Duke. The Bears next take on Cal State Bakersfield on Friday, Dec. 7, at 7 p.m. in Bakersfield.

The Cal Coaches Corner, hosted by Todd McKim, is broadcast each Monday from August through March and includes interviews and features with Golden Bear coaches, student-athletes and alumni from all 29 intercollegiate sports.

Please note that this week's show will be the final one taking place at the Claremont Hotel. Details of the new location will be announced in the near future.
