Listen Live on Cal All-Access (6 p.m. PT)
BERKELEY - Football coach Jeff Tedford and volleyball coach Rich Feller, along with wide receiver Marvin Jones and cross country runners Deborah Maier and Chelsea Reilly, will be guests on Monday's Cal Coaches Corner broadcast live from the Paragon at the Claremont Hotel, Club and Spa. The program runs from 6-7 p.m. and can be heard on KNEW Radio (910 AM).
This week, Tedford will guide his Bears into the Rose Bowl for a match-up with UCLA at 4 p.m. Saturday. Cal is coming off a 34-10 victory over Utah during which the Bears built a 34-0 lead and held a 4-0 turnover margin. Cal has won the last three meetings with UCLA, including a 45-26 decision during the squads' last game in Pasadena in 2009.
Feller and his second-ranked volleyball team host UCLA Friday and USC Saturday - the only schools to defeat the Bears this year. Both matches start at 7 p.m. at Haas Pavilion. Cal is off to a 21-2 start and is 11-2 in the Pac-12.
Jones is Cal's active career leader in receptions (134), receiving yards (2,023) and receiving touchdowns (13). He has caught passes in 32 consecutive games (every Cal contest the last three years).
Maier and Reilly, the Bears' senior co-captains, will be leading the 10th-ranked women's cross country team into the Pac-12 Championships in Tempe, Ariz., this weekend. Maier, who won the Roy Griak Invitational in Minnesota earlier this fall, is a two-time first-team all-conference choice and took third place at the league meet last year.
< P>The Cal Coaches Corner is hosted by Todd McKim and is broadcast each Monday from August through March and includes interviews and features with Golden Bear coaches, student-athletes and alumni from all 29 intercollegiate sports.
